  • Abstract
    Flexible Manufacturing Systems are particularly attractive to manufacturers producing in middle volume ranges -- between one of a kinds and mass production. The FMS is modeled as a multiple job class closed queueing network. In this paper we develop a solution methodology to determine the optimal product mix ratio to maximize throughput.
