98 A new method for one pot electrochemical synthesis of Li doped Graphene Nano particles in presence of surface activate materials Fariborz Chitsazzadeh F chitsazzadeh@ch iut ac ir July 2015 Department of Chemistry Isfahan University of Technology 84156 83111 Isfahan IranDegree M Sc Language FarsiSupervisor Mohammad Zhiani E mail m zhiani@cc iut ac irAbstract In this investigation a mechanism suggested for electrochemical exfoliation of Graphite galleries in organic solvens by cyclic voltammetry By comparasion of different Graphite voltamogram various parametrs were optimized These datas show the best potential for electrochemical exfoliation of Graphite occure by step potential in 2 and 4 V Surfactant function on Graphite solvent interface were evaluated with UV technique Also the role of 2 different surfactants TX100 and SDS were evaluated on exfoliation of Graphite electrode Based on these results highly exfoliation of Graphite to Graphene Nano particles occurred in presence of LiClO4 SDS and DMSO Various charectrization method like IR Raman XRD SEM UV and AFM applied on synthesized sample electrocatalytic activity of synthesized surface were evaluated by electron transfer rate during Fe CN 6 3 4 reaction Results show 50 g of Graphene on GC electrode shows best loading datas Comparasion of CV between Graphene Carbon nano tube and Volcun X72 R beter electrocatalytic activities for GN surfa e wher GN has ashift abut 0 05 and 0 1 to negative potentials than Volcun and CNT In order to find optimized concentration of SDS during exfoliation process suggested method repeated in different concentration of SDS and the product were evaluated during Fe CN 6 3 4 reaction Zeta potentials proved these datas too At last synthesized Graphene were evaluated during Oxygen reduction reaction The results show synthesized surface has electrocatalytic activity with long stabilityKeywords Graphene Nano particles one pot electrochemical exfoliation surface active materials
