Application Singularity Method for Identification Geochemical Anomaly Case Study Ore Pb Zn Central Iran Zohre hoseinzade z hoseinzade@mi iut ac ir Date of Submission 2016 09 17 Department of Mining Engineering Isfahan University Of Technology Isfahan 84156 83111 Iran Degree M Sc Language Farsi Supervisor Ahmadreza Mokhtari ar mokhtari@cc iut ac irAbstractStudy area is located 20km south southwest of city of Isfahan between longitudes 51 31 51 45and latitudes 32 32 28 The mineralized Pb Zn zones of the Irankuh district occur in bouth thenorthern and southern flanks of Irankuh mountain and most important of them are Gushfill Tappeh Sorkh Gardaneh Kolahdar vazeh Godezendan and KhanehGorgy To assess the soilresponse to the geochemical halos associated with the Pb Zn mineralization 804 soil sampleswere collected on a rectangular grid at 40 meter intervals along parallel travers lines of 200mapart Soil samples were analyzed by ICP ME41 for Ag Ba Pb Zn S Zr Ca Mg W Al P Crand etc Univariate statistics analysis such as U Statistics MAD Gap Statistics done toachieved overview of univariate anomalies in study area Correlation coefficient showed S to Ba Pb Zn and Cd are high correlated and so are Pb to Ag and Zn to Cd Considering PCA on the ilr data and log data illustrated different between the two transformation Mineralization weren tcorrectly determined in log data because constant sum of constraint and false correlation Inmultivariate analysis discussion two method of factor analysis were used Determination numberof key variables and considering multivariate anomalies done by developed FA Staged FAidentified predictive factors with identification and removing The main goal of this study isusing of singularity method to finding the anomal and undetected district in study area Spectrum area and singularity mapping were used to identify anomal district Data of the studyarea get of distributed samples in dissimilar area due to space constraints of sampling At finalinterpolation maps have irregular geometric shape and missing data create hole in the maps These cause pattern distortion in the frequency domain and inconsistency results of singularitymapping and spectrum area method To reduce this effects was used of combine method Resultsof the method match mineralization in study area and introduce fit area for mineralization inother part study area At final to archive one map were used of weighted overlay in GISsoftware two position was introduced in west north and central of area that them located on orebearing units Key Word Anomaly Singularity method Spectrum area mineralization Irankuh factoranalysis
