53AbstractIn this work novel magnetically separable g C3N4 Fe3O4 Ag3PO4 WO3 nanocompositeswere successfully prepared in a simple and inexpensive method to photodegradation oforganic dyes as important pollutants in wastewaters of textile industries Theirphotocatalytic activity were investigated for degradation of Rhodamine b Methylene blueand Acid blue 40 as three organic pollutants under sunlight irradiation The preparedsamples were characterized using XRD FT IR FE SEM EDX Zeta potential and DLS Inoptimal conditions the percentage of degraded dyes were more than 96 under thesunlight simulator The results indicate that the degradation reaction is not stopped at thebreaking the band that formation of color and proceed to formation of species such as waterand carbon dioxide The kinetics of the degradation reaction of all dyes that used arefollowed the secound order Reduction of band gap energy and improvement of lightabsorption in the visible region for the modified photocatalyst were evaluated by usingTuac s plot and Cyclic Voltammetry method Finally the photocatalyst was magneticallyseparated from the treated solution after five cycles Keywords magnetically g C3N4 Fe3O4 Ag3PO4 WO3 nanocomposites Rhodamine b Methylene blue and Acid blue 40
