۶ Consensus of Multi Agent Systems With Markovian Switching Topologies and Interactions Based on Physical Model Sayed Ali Sayedana a sayedana@ec iut ac ir Date of Submission 2020 7 4 Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering Isfahan University of Technology Isfahan 84156 83111 Iran Degree M Sc Language FarsiProf F Sheikholeslam sheikh@cc iut ac ir Dr Majdeddin Najafi majd najafi@cc iut ac irAbstract In this research consensus problem is investigated for multi agent sys tems with Markovian switching topologies in presence of interactions be tween agents The interactions can be made by physical connections be tween agents These physical connections are considered linear and withdeterministic structure However control algorithm has to be designedbased on switching communication topologies which are modeled by atime homogeneous Markov process In this study the consensus problembecomes stability problem For achieving to consensus goal Lyapunovfunctional approach and algebraic Riccati equation are applied to designproper control gains In the control approach union of topologies has im portant role for reaching to the consensus The proposed algorithm is pre sented for both leader follower and leaderless systems Also it is proposedthat the formation problem for multi agent systems with Markovian switch ing topologies in presence of interactions between agents by changing theappropriate variable can be solved by the consensus approach Finally nu merical simulations are presented to demonstrate the capability of methodfor solving the problem Keywords consensus switching topologies interactions physical con nections Markov process
