Abstract Portable MP3 players are one of the music playing technologies These playersdon t have any mechanical movement So they are suitable for listening to the musicwhile doing every activities MP3 is a digital to analog compression technique basedon MPEG layer 3 and it stores the music files in a less space than the other soundstoragetechnologies The simulated MP3 player in this project has a main section that consists of userinterface unit memory control unit main control unit and etc It is synthesized in aFPGA of kind FLEXIOKA and it can be programmed by a programmer through theMaxplusII application The FPGA gets data from an input port and delivers it to aMP3 decoder chip MAS3507D This chip decodes the input data and delivers thedecoded data into a digital to analog converter chip DAC3550A This converter has astereo output and finally through this processMP3 data will be played The simulation and synthesize of this project has been done in MaxplusII by VHDL language d I j 1 u i i Lf I I J ViJf
