AbstractThis experiment was perfonned at Isfahan University of Technology to investigate theeffect of treated wastewater TW on growth of 10 Bennudagrass cultivars Threehundred pots were prepared and 10 Bennudagrass cultivars were sown with threereplicates The statistical design was split split plots Five combinations of water andpreliminary and advanced treated wastewater PTW and A TW were used to irrigate thepots These combinations are 100 TW 75 TW and 25 water 50 Twand 50 water 25 TW and 75 water and 100 water The results showed that TW didn thave significant effect on color of Bennudagrass cultivars The JP1 cultivar had the bestand Midlawn had the worst color Density of the cultivars irrigated with PTW was morethan the cultivars irrigated with A TW The height of the cultivars was different butusing PTW or A TW didn t have significant effect The least height belongs to Tifdwarfcultivar and the highest height was for 3200wI9 9 The cultivars irrigated with ATWhad greater root diameter than PTW Root area in Tifdwarf cultivar was the greatestandin Midlawn was the least PTw and ATW didn t have significant effect on root length Tifdwarf cultivar had the greatest root length and Midlawn had the least The cultivarsirrigated with PTW absorbed more N with respect to A TW This difference isstatistically significant Maximum N belongs to 100 TW treatment and decreasingthepercentage of TW decreases N absorption Phosphorus absorption of treatmentsirrigated with PTW or A TW is identical But different percentages of TW causedsignificant difference in P absorption Pots irrigated with 100 TW or irrigated with75 TW and 25 water had the highest P absorption Absorption of Fe Zn Co and Cdby cultivars is identical in PTW and A TW treatments Average pH of pots irrigated withPTW is more than A TW PTW and A TW didn t have significant effect on EC and TDS but different percentages of TW and water had some effects on these parameters Maximum EC and TDS belongs to the treatment which used 100 TW Organic mattercontent of treatments irrigated with PTW or A TW was the same but using differentpercentages ofTW caused significant difference in organic matter Using PTW or ATWdidn t cause significant difference in soil N P Ca Mg Na and bicarbonate Usingdifferent percentages of TW and water had significant effects on these parameters insoil Using PTW or ATW didn t have significant effects on Fe Pb and Zn of the soil inpots J lJ Illf ti iJ
