AbstractProject management is a collection of processes applied by the purpose of doingsuccessfully in the project s life cycle According to PMBOK standard projectmanagement is the knowledge levy skills tools and necessary techniques forperforming activities of solving project management necessities via involving theinitiating planning executing controlling and closing out processes Projectmanagement is the art of conducting and matching human resources withsubstance in the life cycle of a project by using the modern management style sothat we gain all the predefined goals about work scope cost time quality andcooperation Risk management is one of the nine project management processes targeted atmaximizing the positive events results and minimizing the probability or theeffect of unpleasant events on the goals of the project Value engineering is saidto the systematic style by the goal of getting optimum of value index in a project Studying great civil projects shows that both processes mentioned above RiskManagement Value Engineering either were used separately or were not usedat all in the projects which cause various problems occur In such a position it isalso observed that the efficiency and expectations of these two processes are notreally met An Integrated Model of Risk Management Value Engineering isbeing presented in this research By using this approach the process of projectmanagement can be specified evaluated and controlled in each stage With thisviewpoint the new attitude toward project management may cause a salientvicissitude in the process of project and access to project s goals with lowercosts and higher qualities Key Words Project Management Risk Management Value Engineering
