153AbstractLiposomes are spherical vesicles that are composed of amphiphile molecules and can carryhydrophobic and hydrophilic materials This research work dealing with application ofliposomes as an auxiliary in dyeing of wool polyester fabric with disperse dyes and itsinfluence on dyeing properties was evaluated with calculation of colour strength K S The preparation and production of multi lamellar liposomes MLV from Soya lecithinwith 45 phosphatidylcholine were carried out and the behavior of liposomes in dye bathat different temperatures and liposome concentrations were examined and compare withconventional dyeing The results showed that application of liposomes in wool polyesterdyeing with disperse dyes can lead to decrease the temperature of dyeing approximately10 C It can be concluded that using of 2 o w f of liposomes in dyeing of woo polyesterwith C I Disperse Blue 56 and C I Disperse Red 60 at 110 C for 60 min leads to improveK S and application of 2 o w f of liposomes in dyeing with C I Disperse Brown 1 C I Disperse Red 1 and C I Disperse Yellow 23 presents the same results In dyeing withC I Disperse Violet 33 and C I Disperse Orange 25 observed improvement of K S is lesssignificant The Central Composite Design CCD used for experimental plan on the resultof colour strength Statistical analysis confirms the optimum conditions obtained by theexperimental results The strength wash and light fastness properties of samples dyedwith disperse dyes including liposomes in dye bath have not changed significantly Alsono outstanding changes or degradations were observed in the structure of fibres accordingto the FTIR test
