Abstract Because of holding high specific level structured packing enhanced towerefficiency and through their structure make the pressure drop throughout the tower Anew design has been presented in order to increase the special level of these packing which in addition to HETP they will reduce gas pressure too Also through changingthe kind of holes in special kind of structured packing it has been tried to improve gasdistribution in tower which led to good results Regarding no mass transferring in special places of tower it has been tried to removethis deficiency In some points of tower which the liquid gathers and hasredistribution there exist very little contact between the 2 phase and actually theamount of mass transferring will be deemed as nothing It has been tried to innovate anovel kind of gathering device through the representation of a design for gatheringdevice which in addition to having less height than other gathering device will havecomparable specific level with packing which in the past there has not been any actionin this regard This packing when gathering liquid in the center of tower will increasethe contact level of the two phases and through this process it will reduce the finalheight of tower
