133AbstractAccording to the economic social and political situations and also the structure andaims of agricultural section there are different forms of agricultural production systemsin the world The most important kinds of agricultural production systems in Iran arecommercial cooperatives and peasantry The agricultural production cooperatives areone of the important kinds of cooperatives in Iran that they began their activities in 1352A H it seems that this system has done some changes in the realm of its activities Previous researches indicated that this system has been successful consideringperformance assessment indexes of agricultural production systems We decided to getits rank with comparative assessment this system with other ones according to relativesuccess of agricultural production cooperatives and determine the results of itssubstitution for peasantry system Farmers of Kashan and Aran o bidgol townshipswere statistical population of this research and the method of research was survey anddocumentary Necessary data collected by library and also interview and fill outquestionnaire method In this research for the first time peasantry system divided into two classes peasantrywho benefits from services and peasantry who doesn t benefit from services and wecompared their performance with three systems jointly agricultural productioncooperative and commercial The method of sampling was randomized systematic and486 samples from 15 classes were chosen according to five kinds of system and threegeographical zones Results indicated that the agricultural production cooperatives hasthe second grade after commercial system considering the performance assessmentindexes and its found that its better than the other systems
