AbstractSpinning is a chipless production method of forming axisymetrical and onaxisymetricalmetal shapes It is a point deformation Process by which a metal disc or cylindricalworkpiece is plastically deformed by axial and radial motion or just by axial motion ofthe tool Spinning is an economical efficient and versatile method The spinningprocess can be classified into three basic types shear forming flow forming and tubespinning In this thesis flow forming and tube spinning methods are used for producing thewanted piece For designing the flow forming process and optimizing the tubespinning process finite element simulation is used Finite element method of theseprocesses with ABAQUS software is completely described Several theoretical andpractical results which are recorded in articles and books are also described that canbe used for designing these processes
