Abstract As the science of nanofibers is increasingly spreading throughout the worldindustries producing fabrics of nanofibers in the textile industry there is a demand Inmost of the scientific and industrial researches it has been taken into considerationthat these kinds of fibers with regard to their significant characteristics turn into asolution for the improvement of conventional fabrics In the past the highest level ofachievement in this field has been the production of thread and at last a layer ofnanofibers which has various applications So it seems that appropriate approachproduce a fabric of nanofibers This goal has been achieved in the present research At first some parameters of the thread have been evaluated including the density thread thickness and its changes using the image processing and signifying thenarrow and thick parts of the thread In the next step the aimed fabric was made withthe already produced threads The final fabric was produced in the patterns of Plainand Rips 2 1 using a common framework and weaving operation Then using thetechnology of image processing four tests i e warp and weft spacing surfacecorrelation loose and compressed areas and cover factor have been done on these twopatterns In order to get reliable results the Fourier transform which well signifies thefrequencies was used The warp and weft spacing resulted from image processingwas close to the real measure The surface correlation of the cloth was measured inten imaginary points on the cloth Finally the surface on the cloth was similar Theloose and compressed areas were also determined by image processing To evaluatethe density Benzene Nitrobenzene Olive oil CCl4 and Acetic acid were used The results show that the average density was 1 027 g cm which is slightly lessthan the average density of Acrylic that s about 1 14 to 1 18 g cm the thickness ofthe thread was 0 1656 and its coefficient of changes was 19 82 Then the thick andnarrow parts of the thread were evaluated according to the average and variance ofthread thickness Furthermore warp and weft density in plain woven fabrics were 21 5 cm and 12 respectively and for 2 1 Rips structure these values were 12 cm and11 cm respectively Also fabric weight gr m2 was assessed For both fabricstructures these amounts were 45 54 gr m2 and 60 9 gr m2 respectively In the end the cover factor was measured for both fabric structures which were 0 5467 for thePlain and 0 5044 for the Rips
