137Abstract A common problem arising in project management is the fact that the baselineschedule is often disrupted by several uncontrollable factors such as resource breakdown orneeded additional time in order to execute activities As a result project managers are oftenunable to meet the promised completion date or the deadline time of delivery of importantevents of project This issue often appears when baseline schedule is constructed due tocertainty assumption in project parameters So it is essential to take into accountuncertainty in project scheduling One of the important approaches in this issue isconstructing robust project schedule Generally this approach tries to construct robustproject baseline schedule by considering uncertainty in such a way that any variations can tmake disruption in it as far as possible So this schedule remains valid It is obvious if wewant to use this method it is better to be applicable to real conditions For this reason byconsidering simultaneously uncertainty in duration of activities and availability ofresources some methods have been offered in construction of robust schedule Furthermore we have developed a tabu search algorithm in order to increase therobustness In this research extensive computational experiments have been done ondifferent aspects The aim is the evaluation of performance in robust schedule constructionmethods in different states Finally the best robust schedule construction method has beenrecommended by concerning the results of these experiments
