    Abstract A f undamental understanding of polynucleartransition metal is odf key importance todesign of molecular device such as low impedance molecular wire molecular swiches aswell as the certain of novel materials with useful magnetic or optical properties suchdevices could find application in a variety of area such as nanoscale electronic biologicalprobs magnetic shild and video display in this study we have synthesized andchatactrized by X ray crystallography uv vis absorbtion spectroscopy thise complexesincluded polynuclear cobalt complexes and made with phenylcyanamide ligands like Co 4 Fpcyd 2 n Co 4cl pcyd 2 nwith Co 4Br pcyd 2 n a crystal structurewdetermination of complexe Co 4Nitro pcyd 2 DMF n have been performed thiscomplex has a polynuclear structure and ligands has been bridged within complexe Thecrystal srtructure is showed bridged phenylcyanamide coordination with CO II in adistored trigonal pyramidal coordinaton sphere results of crystallography also showsblock shaped crystal of Co 4Nitro pcyd 2 DMF n were greown from a solutiondimethylfromamide and acetonitril by slow evaporation of acetonitril Isfahan University of Tecnology
