Evaluation of Performance of Board Members and Principals of Rural Production Co Operatives of Khuzestan Province Abdolhasan Torfi Aleyvi Torfi 85@yahoo com 24 July 2009 Department of Rural Development Isfahan University of Technology Isfahan 8415683111 Iran Degree MS c Language Farsi Supervisors Asist Prof A M Amini and Assoc Prof A Z Hamadani Abstract The general goal of this research is to study the performance of board members and principals of rural production co operatives of Khuzestan province Documental and field methods are used to gather the required information After preparing complete works and theoritcal framework management by objective MBO method is used to evaluate the performance of managers By using multi stage sampling counties of plain and mountainous areas of the province have been selected for the research Generally 285 questionnaires were filled out and 12 cooperatives were evaluated To gather information four types of questionnaires were designed accordingly The first one was about common members opinion The second one had been designed for studying the characteristic of managers To know the opinion of cooperatives experts and general specifications of cooperatives were asked in the third and four questionnaires respectively For data processing the following softwares were used Spss16 Excel Expert Choice Statistical tests factor analysis and Cronbakh s Alpha Coefficient showed that concepts applied in the research had high validity and reliability In general Results of the research showed that the performance of cooperatives was weak The research hypotheses test also showed the higher education and experience of managers caused to the cooperative success It showed that the higher recognition of members from cooperation principles and the higher education and knowledgement cause to the success too Results of this research shows that the performance of managers is weak too Cooperatives were not successful in achieving their objectives and satisfy members expectations Other results of this research were the rate of member sharing instruction managers educations and managers specialty is very weak and participation in cooperative affaire is normal The result of path analysis showed that the performance of managers and human force influence on cooperative success Inside organizational also influenced on cooperative success The analytical hierarchy process AHP also shows that convince cooperative experts know constructing necessary infrastructure using proper pdfMachine Is a pdf writer that produces quality PDF files with ease Produce quality PDF files in seconds and preserve the integrity of your original documents Compatible across nearly all Windows platforms if you can print from a windows application you can use pdfMachine Get yours now
