Implementation of ERP maintenance module in iron ore concentrated product line Ali Narimani narimani a@yahoo com March 8 2010 Department of Mechanical Engineering Isfahan University of Technology Isfahan 84156 83111 Iran Degree M Sc Language Farsi Supervisor Mohsen Safavi mosafavi@cc iut ac ir Abstract Enterprise resources planning systems ERP is a fully integrated collection of systems It is based on standard work processes which are created on the base of best practices ERP has various sub systems including the Enterprise Asset Management EAM which plays an important role in promoting of the efficiency of manufacturing engineering systems in these days EAM is one of the very applicable operations in iron ore concentrate production line which is the optimum utilization of its production line to the desired position in the maintenance equipment will be used Asset Subsystem ERP implementation through integration and standardization information and delete operations cause repeated activities speed and accuracy in production operations and reduce the problems caused stock shortages and provide the highest readiness and equipment production line and reduced provides a cost When a piece of EAM system failure human resources required for the replacement or repair materials and parts required to repair warehouse tools necessary maintenance operations and other factors to determine the necessary and after the operation you calculate the cost of a The work by manpower and equipment and parts will get the consumer the important factors determining the path work order and equipping them and recorded the history monthly and annual reports of the stop and the time between stops the cause of failure and continuous source of failure can be recorded In this study the presence of iron ore concentrate production company Gol e Gohar Sirjan and participation in implementing systems EAM due to system implementation process optimization solutions have been presented ERP software package implemented to Oracle E Business suite and Oracle are licensed method used to implement this system the method implemented Oracle applications company AIM is An optimization solution to the two groups has been the overall classification The first group factors influence the optimum implementation of this system including optimal coding equipment mining equipment hierarchy and paste files optimum educational EAM system processes are set the second group factors influence the optimum application of this system includes the following extraction process flow diagrams governing system operation maintenance EAM display settings the basic steps of using the system images each process and provide System implementation capacities are in the EAM system these methods also raise beneficiary involvement in EAM system implementation process and improve his level of recognition and command system the user provided for the final phase of getting ready made system and while reducing the time to establish Exploitation system cause the system to provide optimum application Keywords ERP EAM AIM ERP implementation
