Chemical componets identification of Fritillaria imperialis L and its relation with habitat conditions in the West Regions of Isfahan Province Masumeh Afifian Email masumehafifian@gmail com 1 10 2010 Department of Natural Resources Isfahan University of Technology Isfahan 84156 8311 IranDegree M Sc Language FarsiSupervisors M R Vahabi vahabi@cc iut ac ir M Fazilati Fazilati@cc iut ac ir AbstractCentral Zagros includes the richest genetic sources in Iran and Fritllaria imprialis L grows there The Fritillariaimperialis is mainly important in terms of its medicinal ecotourism attraction and application in green partsaspects Alkaloids and glycosids are the most important chemical compounds of this plant that characterizedtherapeutic effect of these compounds on lymphatic diseases rheumatic pains and clearing agent for liver Samples of Fritllaria imprialis were taken from five site in the West of Isfahan Province Gol hony Gharsonak Ghalhko Ghordareh and Dareh bid and the most important Alkloid and inorganic elements were specified andcompared Flame photometric and atomic absorption were used to determine the inorganic elements and TLCScanner for Alkloid determination The results showed that The comparison of inorganic element of Fritllariaimprialis revealed in the different organs flower foliage and bulb for five site calcium havethe most 15 20 6and 18 6 mg kg respectively and phosphor 0005 0003 and 0003 mg kg the least type and amount ofalkaloids in bulb was more than other organs such as flower branch and leaf also the amount of alkaloids in patch2 were more than other site By studying existing similarity between investigated areas and classifying theirquantity statistics of 28 selected area attributes and 17 quality index of Fritllaria imprialis based on partialEuclidean distance was claster classified with the least variance By considering the results of cluster analysisof area factor two significant habitats were specified in 95 similarity level first habitates includes No 1 2 3and 4 and second one includes locations No 5 nine climate factors and one factor soil and one factorphysiographic had significant impacts on this classification in habitat separation among 28 factors Also result ofcluster analysis of Fritllaria imprialis quality indices showed that threshold criteria in 62 5 similaritylevel would separate five sites in to groups Group1 includes locations No 1 2and 3 and group 2 includeslocations No 4 and 5 Regarding to statistics quality indices three factors had influence in separation of site Toordination habitat specifications and determining relationship between quality indices of Fritllaria imprialishabitat locations No 1 2 3and 4 which Eastdrection caco3 dryness coeficient of Demarten elevation wetcoeficient of Amberjeh mean frozen days mean annual Precipitation and uptakable amount of potassium ineffective factor together quantity index of phosphor sodium potassium amounts of flower branch leaf andbulb Alkloids and type of flower Alkaloid were significant in separating site The Second habitat location No 5 in which annual evaporation and transpiration annual evaporation annual mean temperature minimumannualtemperature maximum annual temperature and lenght of day period in effective factor together quantityindex of type of branch leaf Alkloid and amount of exchangeable calcium were significant in separatingsite The results of the specifications relationship between morphological characteristics and ecological factorshowed that In habitat II location 5 to sites I sites 1 2 3 and 4 Fritllaria imprialis leaves number isincreased so we understand that the second site was warmer and because fritllaria imprialis is a cold seasonspecies and its not cold enough for it and enters transition phase so the number of leaves in the second site incompare to first one with colder weather is more and its reach to flowering phase so faster Key words Fritllaria imprialis Alkloid inorganic elements ordination Central Zagros
