Evalution of the Relationship Between Social Capital and Entrepreneurship in the Villages of Kerman City Nedabaniasadi baniasadi@ec iut ac ir Data of Submission Septamber 2011 Department of Rular Development Isfahan 84156 83111 Iran Isfahan University of Technology Degree M Sc Languge farsi Supervisor Mohammd Sadegh ebrahimi Ebrahimi MS@cc iut ac ir Ahmad khaton Abadi Ahmad kh@cc iut acAbstract Entrepreneurship is a process which takes place in a network in the presence of social relations These social relationscan limit or facilitate the recognition of opportunities and resources Up to now One of the factors affecting ruraldevelopment entrepreneurship because entrepreneurship can create new opportunities for employment and income havea significant role in improving rural economy and livelihood vast majority of the studies related to entrepreneurshiphave been in the from of personality traits of the entrepreneurs and paying attention to social networks and socialcapital has been neglected by them Since there is a high potential in the villages in the county of Kerman in the threeareas of industry services and agriculture the entrepreneurial process takes place slowly in them There for this studyinvestigates the relationship between social capital and rural entrepreneurship and the cases of the study are somevillages in the county of Kerman The research method is library work and field study After defining the indexes andvariables of the study through a questionnaire the necessary data are gathered The sampling population is estimated150 people according to a survey carried out by the departments of labor and agriculture in the county of Kerman Theresearch findings show that there is a direct and significant relationship between rural entrepreneurship and socialcapital entrepreneurship and correlation entrepreneurship and awareness entrepreneurship and cooperation There isno relationship between entrepreneurship and confidence There is no relationship between entrepreneurship and thevariables of age and education but there is a relationship between entrepreneurship and technical skills In the factoranalysis of entrepreneurship entrepreneurship infrastructures have the highest effect on the process of entrepreneurshipwith their highest factor load cooperation in the building of the villages has the highest factor load on the formation ofsocial capital In the regression analysis psychological acquaintance with the laws of labor access to technical facilitiesand skills play roles in the prediction of rural entrepreneurship respectively Preparing conditions for the Importantmatters that need to develop culture entrepreneurship development in rural areas and they should be Fostering a culturethat requires extreme efficient it is very difficult and requires prolonged effortcooperation of the village habitants andincreasing their access to the facilities are some of the suggestions in this study Perceived ability to detect changes andopportunities participation and teamwork creativity and innovation the spirit of independence and responsibility and all of the basic elements of this culture and try to hide their mistakes and that entrepreneurship may be reduced This isdue to the low level of trust in the research and theory that researchers can makers are able to pay our rural developmentKey word Rural entrepreneurship social capital the city of Kerman Corrolate Regrssion Factor Analysis
