Environment Health and Safety Risk Assessment of Lavan Oilfiled by using Bayesian Networks and FMEA method Mahsa Farsad m farsad@ yahoo com January Department of environment Isfahan University of Technology Isfahan Iran Degree M Sc Language Farsi Supervisor Hossein Moradi Moradi@ cc iut ac ir Abstract Today oil and gas industries from economic point of view play an important role globally In the other way it s an industry that has different social and environmental effects so HSE sector pay attention to these industries as one of the important bases and environment risk assessment has changed to one of the management tools in that industries Iran by main sources of oil and gas ranked in second place between OPEC members in producing oil and all the processes in exploration extraction production and utilization have many negative effects on environment and health so one of the managing element in similar projects is improving safety coefficient declining environmental damages with considering to safe ambient and healthy environment In this study to identify and risk evaluation of lavan s oil region Determined all the risks of safety health and environment by the years and and identified Causality relationship between the risks Netica software was used To form the Bayesian network Using Bayesian networks to evaluate environmental health and safety Lavan Island hazards and by this model was shown effective factors And the effect of each of them in the final risk Classified Regional risks in three categories supercritical critical and low risk The results indicate that more risks in this area are In supercritical class and Finally Results of Sensitivity Analysis for End zone risks showed that the health risks are more Influence On the region risk and then environment risks and safety risks have Significant effect on the risk area Key words risk assessment health Bayesian network environment safety PDF created with pdfFactory trial version www pdffactory com
