89 Abstract The contrast between travel convenience and ride quality in production of suspensionsystems always existed with consideration of stability in changing the line or crossing thebarriers In addition by increasing each parameter the other one decreased withadvancement in control systems the suspension systems are gradually changed and passiveand active suspension systems have entered the markets Using advance sensors lead todecrease the design problems until the scanners solved the available contrast completely Afterwards the electromagnetic active suspension systems created two criteria includestability and travel convenience simultaneously In this thesis for the first time an eight degree of freedom DOF car model with theobjective function includes travel convenience and constraints relating to the design ofsuspension system and driver convenience is optimized in Adams software in order toobtain the initial values for commencement of simulation along with the validity of activeand passive suspension systems In this dissertation using an eight degree of freedom car model in two conditions allattempts tended to investigate the small stability of car In addition the ascendancy ofactive suspension in different path includes longitudinal and latitudinal slope in directmode and in twist with constant radius for constant and variable speed than inactivesuspension is demonstrated Thereafter the travel convenience for both conditions iscompared Moreover investigating the stability of large deviation in each condition thereduction of bumpiness and change in direction with the advantages of active suspensionsystems is studied Using this method the possibility of computing the maximum speed formoving in twist is obtained Finally the time required for the function of active suspensionin order to perform is calculated
