Abstract :
The method of independent paris and sites, which is original in this paper, is used for studying the order-disorder phenomena albite with complete aluminum avoidance. It was found that, in an intermediate temperature range, albite may have a metastable (solid) phase. The ordinary phase is less ordered (high albite) and the metastable phase is more ordered (low albite). However, below this temperature range only a low albite phase is seen, while above the same range, only a high albite phase is seen.
