Abstract :
The effects of high ambient temperature (30 C) vs.normal temperture (20 C) on fearther growth at 26 days of ege,and feed intake, feed conversion and body weight at 26,35 and 49 days of age were studied on 805 broiler chickens from a grandparent line of the Ross company.High temperature had significant (P<0.05) effects on feather cover, body weight and feed intake, but feed conversion was not affected by the high temperature.Differences between male and fermale chickens were significant (P<0.05) for all of the considered traits.
