Abstract
:
modidied line heat source thermal conductivity probe was constructed and used in this experiment to measure the thermal conductivity of fruits. Initially, the probe was calibrated with available constant thermal conductivity sources. It was found that the new probe can be operated for a longer period than previous ones used by the authour and thus is more acceptable. The probe was used to measure the thermal conductivity of different fruits at room temperature. The results of thermal conductivity data with their corresponding miosture content were reported.
