84 Synthesis and Characterization of Catalyst Containing Copper based Metal Organic Framework and Investigation of their Catalytic Behavior in Oxidation Reaction ofCyclohexane to Cyclohexanol Cyclohexanone Mixture Preparation and Characterization of Alginate Fe3O4 Dopamine Nanocomposite and Optimization Controlled Release of Drug in Different Conditions Elham Zareie e zareie@ch iut ac ir Department of Chemistry Isfahan University of Technology Isfahan 84156 83111 Iran Supervisor Prof M Ghiaci mghiaci@cc iut ac irDegree M Sc Language PersianAbstract This study consists of two parts In the first part preparation and characterization of copperbased on Metal Organic Framework MOF catalyst were studied Then their catalytic activity onselective oxidation of cyclohexane to the Ketone Alcohol Mixture K A oil was investigated Inthis project using the cheap raw materials with a simple way and in a short time Cu catalyst withan organic ligand in the metal organic framework was prepared and characterized using varioustechniques such as FT IR FESEM XRD and BET for their morphologies and structures Afterthat various factors influencing conversion and selectivity of Cyclohexanol and Cyclohexanonesuch as temperature time oxygen pressure amount of catalyst and solvent were optimized Finally the reusability of the catalyst during the reaction times after 4 runs was investigated inoptimal conditions This project was an attempt to not only provide an easy and affordable method but also construct a catalyst with highest conversion and selectivity compared to other catalystsused in the same reaction In the second part the controlled release of dopamine on the surface ofalginate Nanoparticle of Fe3O4 was investigated To this end in order to controlling release drugdelivery magnetic nanocomposite of Alginate Fe3O4 Dopamine@TiO2 was prepared byintroducing Ti O CH2 3CH3 4 in the hydrolysis process The effects of pH intestine and stomach dose and ratio of TiO2 in at least 54 h were also examined These nano composites were producedutilizing low cost materials including biodegradable and biocompatible polysaccharide through avery simple method and So can be used to operate in modern oral drug delivery systems as suitabledrug carrier Keywords Metal Organic Framework Oxidation Cyclohexane Cyclohexanol cyclohexanone Alginate Fe3O4 Dopamine Nano Composite Drug Delivery
