52 Application of polyamide containing triazin ring as a sorbent in SPME method for determination of ethion Mina farhani nejad m farhani90@yahoo com Department of chemistry Isfahan University of Technology Isfahan 84156 83111 Iran Degree M Sc Language Farsi Supervisors Prof Mohammad SarajiDr Mohammad Taghi Jafari Abstract In this study polyamide containing triazine ring was coated on a nichromefiber and used for direct immersion solid phase microextraction of ethion fromstandard sample wastewater well water river water and cucumber Negativecorona discharge ion mobility spectrometry was used for the determination of theanalyte Different parameters affecting the extraction efficiency including ionicstrength extraction time and temperature sample pH stirring rate and desorptiontemperature were investigated and optimized The optimized conditions were asfollows 20 min extraction time at the temperature of 65 C stirring rate of 900rpm sample pH 4 0 and desorption temperature of 220 C Under the optimizedconditions linear dynamic ranges between 5 0 100 g L 1 and 75 0 750 g kg 1were obtained for water samples and cucumber respectively The detection limitswere lower than 1 2 g L 1 for water samples and 20 g kg 1 for cucumber respectively The relative standard deviations were lower than 10 for all samples Spiking recoveries were in the range of 86 to 112 Keywords Solid phase microextraction Polyamide Ion mobilityspectrometry Ethion
