Foliation preserving diffeomorphism induced gauge transformations generator in Horava Lifshitz gravity Ali Dokhani a dokhani@ph iut ac ir Date of submission 20 September 2017 Department of Physics Isfahan University of Technology Isfahan 84156 83111 Iran Degree MSc Language FarsiSupervisor Assoc Prof Ahmad Shirzad shirzad@ipm irAbstractIn this thesis we have reviewed the Horava Lifshitz gravity and the explained about motivationof the Horava to introduce this gravitational model and disscussed use of the Lifshitz scalar theory In the following the special symmetry of theory which is called Foliation PreservingDiffeomorphisms has been expressed For writting the action of this model we have reviewed onthe ADM formalism and introduced the quantites for this model In the second chapter the methodof obtaining generators of the Diffeomorphism indused gauge symmetries which proposed byPons and his colleagues in 1996 has been introduced In this method with use of the concept ofprojectibility the generator of projectable transformations has been obtained In third chapter wehave tried to find the generator of the Foliation Preserving Diffeomorphisms via writing theHorava Lifshitz gravitational Hamiltonian model Finally time reparametrization of this theoryhas been investigated via review of the Henneaux s paper Keywords Diffeomorphism Anisotropic Scaling Hamiltonian constraint timeReparametrization on shell trivial symmetries
