abstractWhen a charged particle heavier than the electron induced to the atom it will be captured in avery high level due to its large mass If this initial particle is kaon and the light target nucleus isa deuteron after slowing down and losing energy it will be replaced instead of atomic electronsof the target and a kaonic atom will be created Then after kaon dexcition and in levels with smallquantum numbers because of overlapping of kaon wave function with target nucleus the effects ofnuclear interaction will be stroger The kaon nucleon nuclear interaction inside the nucleus causesdeeply bound kaonic nuclear states Kaon also can interact with nucleons of the target nucleus directly without being stopped in thematerial Because of this interaction a nucleon or a pion will exit when the kaonic bound statesproduced One can obtain information about the construction and the energy of kaonic system bydetecting the final state particle and calculating the missing mass spectrum When a negative kaoninteracts with a deuteron as a hadron and meets the proton of deuteron by considering the strong in teraction between meson and baryon a bound state will be formed whose mass is about 1405 M eV c2 1405 and called The 1405 resonance state has been studied and investigated both theoretically and experimen tally for decades The purpose of this thesis is to study the 1405 resonance state theoretically bycalculating the transition T matrix using generalized optical potential with Yukawa type separableparameters In the current calculation the formation of 1405 in the K d 1405 n 0 n reaction is studied and the results of the analysis are fitted to the experimental data ofE 31 carried out at J PARC accelerator which is related to the collision of negative kaon of 1GeVmomentum with liquid deuteron and according to the best fit mass and width of this resonant stateis calculated as M 1419 2 4 M eV and 30 5 M eV respectively 4 5 c2Keywords Kaonic atom Kaonic nuclear systems resonance 1405 Experimental data of E 31 J P ARC
