67 Comparsion of some antioxidant defense and immune parameters of golden and normal rainbow trout Oncorhynchus mykiss at early stages of development Arezoo Sadat Hosseini Dehnavi ahosseini@na iut ac ir Department of Natural Resources Isfahan University of Technology Isfahan 84156 83111 IranDegree M Sc Language PersianDr Salar Dorafshan sdorafshan@cc iut ac irAbstractSome antioxidant and imunulogical parameters of golden and typical rainbowtrout were studied during fertilization eyed hatching and swim up stages Ovum and milt were collected from 5 and 3 female and male broodstocksrespectively from each color group The gametes of each studied group weremixed to avoid individual effects of broodfish Fertilization was done at thesame time and manner The eggs were incubated in California through untilswim up stage under the same condition Sampling 3 replicates from eachgroup were done at 3 hours post fertilization eyed hatching and swim upstages The survival was lower in golden trout in comparision to the typical onesat all studied stages p 0 05 In general immunological parameters weredeclined from fertilization till swim up stage in both groups p 0 05 While thegolden trout showed higher immunological parameters in comparison to thetypical one p 0 05 Antioxidant indicies were increased in both studied groupstill eyed stages then reduced at swim up p 0 05 However golden troutshowed lower antioxidant indicies in comparisen to the typical one p 0 05 Itcould be concluded that lower antioxidant defence indicies of golden fish duringthe incubation period was the main reason of the lower survival in comparisonto the typical fish Keywords Immunological indices Antioxidant defence Rainbow trout Bodycolor and Qualitative trait
