AbstractThis research was carried out inorder to compare the Physico Mechanical Chemical and Thermal properties of NBR PVC alloy Cured by sulfur and electronbeam radiation The investigated Physico Mechanical properties include tensile strength elongation to break hardness abration resistance and resilience The investigatedchemical properties was tensile strength elongation to break hardness and swellingresistance to ASTM oil 3 and ASTM Fuel C and the thermal properties includedcompression set and aging Taguchi method was used for design of formulation of compounds and designedcompound were cured by sulfur and electron beam Effect of dose on the Physico Mechanical properties were investigated inorder todetermine the optimum level of dose Results show that with increasing improved and higher dose up to 75 KGy allproperties improved and higher dose up to 150 KGy that properties such as tensilestrene th before aging chemical resistance in ASTM oil 3 and ASTM Fuel C andabratlon resistance remain constant unchanged Propertiessuchas tensile strengthafter aging reduced Comparison between two method of curing shows improved Physico Mechanicalproperties of NBR PVC alloy cured by electron beam All physIcal and mechanicalproperties were improved approximately 15 percent which is due to type of bond ofcrosslinked I 1 t JiI f tf IJt Aq
