Abstract Ad Hoc Wireless Network is a mobile wireless communication environment Inthe future multimedia applications in wireless networks will be very common Forrepresentation of these services in MANET we need to improve the QoS routingalgorithms In some situations for example in Relayed Wireless Access Network mobile stations have a limited forwarding capability In other words each MS canparticipate in a limited number of connections When mobile stations have a limitedforwarding capability a number of routes may be blocked Path blocking may causesignificant reduction in the success ratio of the routing algorithms In this thesis QoSrouting algorithms with limited forwarding capability have been considered Appropriate routing methods and metrics for decreasing path blocking ratio areporposed For this purpose properties of MANET have been reviewed and routingalgorithms routing metrics and existing QoS routing problems in the networks havebeen studied Furthermore a number of solutions are introduced and their efficiencyis evaluated through simulation
