Abstract Single bubble sonoluminescence SBSL occurs when a gas bubble is trappedacoustically in a liquid and collapsed so strongly that the energy focusing leads to lightemission The objective of this thesis was to study the effective parameters on singlebubble sonoluminescence by a hydrochemical model For this purpose the bubbledynamics was simulated by numerical solution of the Rayleigh Plesset and the gas stateequations At first the effect of liquid temperature on SBSL was calculated For thispurpose SBSL from an argon bubble in water at three temperatures 2 5 20 and 33oCwere compared which exist experimental results for them We found that when theliquid temperature is decreased the maximum radius of bubble Rmax is decreased too Accordingly the gas temperature inside the bubble is increased We have analyzed thereasons of these effects The SBSL intensity is also increased as the inside temperatureof the bubble is increased The rates of the microscopic processes of the light emissionhave been calculated They are radiative recombination of electron and ions electron atom and electron ion bremsstrahlung We have shown that radiative recombination isthe dominant process We found that decreasing the static pressure leads to lessen thebubble instabilities and intensities The higher P0 the brighter bubble Diagrams havebeen drawn under diffusive equilibrium conditions and diagram phases are plotted Finally there is a comparison between SBSL from argon in water an SBSL from argonin the 85wt sulfuric acid It has been indicated the bubble in the acid is brighter thanthe bubble in the water The maximum normalized radius of the acid bubble is greaterthan the other and takes a longer time to reach its maximum radius It s because of moredensity and viscosity and less surface tension of sulfuric acid
