AbstractIn this project electrical and electrochemical properties of La0 6 Sr0 4 Co0 2 Fe0 8 O3 LSCF cathode used in Solid Oxide Fuel Cell have been studied This sampleprepared by solid state reaction The results of the x ray diffraction have beenanalyzed by FullProf software and found that LSCF phase has been formed Resistivity of the sample versus temperature at the air atmosphere has been measuredthat it decreases by increasing temperature Activation energy for electricalconductivity has been calculated by fitting the Arrhenius plot with experimental data Also resistivity of the sample has been measured at the different temperature rangesand in the presence of Oxygen Argon atmosphere By using electrical relaxationtechnique and some approximations ionic diffusion coefficient and activation energyfor ionic conductivity has been calculated
