Design and Development of a Security Safety and Access Method in Inteligent Building Management System Mohammad Salimi Beni Mohammad salimi@ec iut ac ir Date of Submission 2013 08 8 Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering Isfahan University of Technology Isfahan 84156 83111 Iran Degree M Sc Language Farsi Supervisor Mahdi Moallem karshen@cc iut ac ir Abstract Intelligent Building Management System IBMS is an important growing field which made an undeniable connection between many of engineering In this project we did a study on IBMS and BMS and specifically on security safety and access which are some of the most important branches of the IBMS At first a review of the vital attributes of security and access in IBMS is given and well known companies are introduced Then it is tried to build a user friendly system in security and access In the designed system the graphical user interface is designed in LabVIEW and a Laboratory sample is tested In the last chapters to check the developed software and hardware elements on the implemented board a general analogy between this system and common well known systems is made and the outcome of this comparison showed although that the common active BMS have a higher quality in technical aspects and graphical features and most different applications in building management however according to the fact that BMS and IBMS is not popular in our country the developed software help to customize native IBMS system for access and security in our country Keywords Intelligent Building Management System keyword graphical user friendly interface promoting method in security safety and access
